Programme Overview
This 24-hour WSQ coaching course consists of 22.5 hours of live coaching skills training and 1.5 hours of competency assessment.
The programme introduces participants to ethical and professional coaching practice based on the ICF Core Competency Framework.
Participants learn how to cultivate a professional coaching mindset, co-create coaching agreements, design an effective coaching environment, and maintain presence in high-performance coaching conversations. Each module is designed to develop coaches who are credible, competent, and client-centred.
This course can be taken as a standalone WSQ coaching programme or as part of our broader ICF-accredited coach training pathway for those working toward the ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) or Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential.

• O-Level qualifications or WPLN Level 5 English (as the course is conducted in English)

Programme Structure
Our WSQ coaching courses run twice a month in small cohorts, allowing each participant to receive focused guidance and engage in meaningful peer learning.
Available as full-day or half-day sessions, delivered in person or online.
Session 1
Demonstrates Ethical Practice
Examine coaching ethics and professional standards, and understand how these guide responsible coaching practice and client development.
Session 2
Embodies a Coaching Mindset
Develop the ability to approach coaching with curiosity, openness, and reflection, while considering the client as a whole person and understanding their needs.
Session 3
Establishes and Maintains Agreements
Learn how to create clear coaching agreements with clients and relevant stakeholders, including defining goals, expectations, and development plans.
Session 4
Cultivates Trust and Safety
Understand how to build trust and psychological safety in the coaching relationship, enabling clients to communicate openly, reflect, and improve performance.
Session 5
Maintains Presence for High-Performance Conversations
Develop the ability to remain fully present in coaching conversations and facilitate meaningful dialogue that supports insight, growth, and action.

Course Requirements
From 1 October 2023, attendance for SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funded courses must be recorded digitally using the Singpass App.
This applies to both in-person and synchronous online classes.
Participants must complete all prescribed assessments and demonstrate full competency to successfully complete the course.
